5 Best 3GB RAM Smartphones Under Rs 10,000 In India

2015 was a year of budget smartphones, especially for Indian smartphone consumers. We have also saw lot of high end smartphones with high end specs featured with them as well. When the smartphone manufactures competed well to offer the best smartphone for an affordable price, we have seen many budget friendly smartphones are flowing to the Indian smartphone market.

Also, one of the most shouted specification upgrades we have seen in 2015’s phones was the RAM. Handsets such as the OnePlus 2, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 came up with 4GB RAM, which is around eight times the amount that was used in top end phones only a few years ago. When smartphones are coming with huge amount of RAM, the operating systems and apps which powers the devices are also developing very fast to the next level.

These latest smartphones are little bit expensive for an average customer, but there are so many other manufacturers who has also introduced some 3GB android smartphones which are priced aggressively under Rs.10000.

Do we really need a 3GB/4GB RAM on our smartphones?

Do we really need 3GB/ 4GB of RAM on our smartphones? The answer of this question will depend up on lot of facts. Even though having more RAM on smartphones and PC’s helps a lot in the performance of the devices, the overall performance of a smartphone will depend up on lot of other facts also. For example, an android phone like HTC with more effectively customised operating system will perform better on less RAM than a smartphone from some Chinese manufacturers like Coolpad with more RAM. Also, iOS and Windows smartphones will perform without any problem even on 1GB RAM than android smartphone with more RAM. Which means having more RAM doesn’t mean that a particular smartphone perform very well.

But, what are the advantages of having more RAM on Smartphones?

Multi-tasking has moved to entirely another level, these days. In the current times, the way of using our smartphones have changed a lot, as we take a Selfie and edit it on Retrica, set it as the new profile picture on Facebook and send a mail or tweet, while chatting on WhatsApp. We are doing more than four tasks at a time. When lot of apps are running in the background, the chances of lags while switching between them will be more on a smartphone with less RAM.  So, the smartphones with more RAM are always helpful for playing heavy loaded 3D games and lag free multi-tasking.

Also, one of the main advantage of having more RAM on our smartphones is that it will be future proofing for upcoming updates and upgrades that is going to come with Operating Systems, Apps and games. Few years ago, one can easily tell that 1GB of RAM is more than necessary on a smartphone. But, now the things have changed a lot. Under Android Lollipop, phones with 1GB of RAM usually suffer a performance hit including minor glitches in screen transitions or having to wait for few seconds or more for apps to load and icons to appear on the home screen. This shows us that in the future, Google will definitely update Android OS with a bunch of new features and functions based on the RAM and other higher specs that a smartphone can offer.
